NetEnt and Mr Green Unveil Interactive 3D Live Casino Experience
Swedish developer NetEnt has partnered with Mr Green casino to launch an innovative new live casino experience designed to immerse players in a social and interactive environment.
The 3D game, entitled ‘Live Beyond Live’ was revealed at the 2018 ICE Gaming conference in London and has been launched on mobile via Mr Green casino, with a full desktop version launch expected in spring 2018.
In the game, players can negotiate a virtual casino environment with moving background assets, multiple camera angles, high-quality audio, and real-time notifications of exciting moments from other tables in the casino.
The setting is designed as a Los Angeles penthouse owned by Mr Green, with plans afoot to develop more scenarios. NetEnt CEO Per Eriksson claimed the company had already completed the groundwork for the title back in 2013, but some of the features were “too far ahead” of the market at the time.
The development costs were split with Mr Green casino, which obtains exclusive rights to the game for 12 months. Mr Green Ltd CEO, Jesper Karrbrink, said the two companies agreed to collaborate following a meeting at last year’s ICE Gaming event.
This is a vision coming true. We had a vision of being more entertaining. We want to be the most entertaining casino out there. We all know that the live casino is growing like crazy; it is where the people want to be, and we want to take that further so we came up with this idea, Live Beyond Live. – Jesper Karrbrink, CEO, Mr Green Ltd
The game will include roulette and blackjack tables handled by thirty Mr Green dealers based out of the company’s live gaming studio in Malta.
Chief Product Officer at NetEnt, Henrik Fagerlund, says the intention from the start was to make the most immersive setting they could, breaking down physical constraints to create a “larger than life experience.” He remarked: “We are constantly looking to push the boundaries of technological advances in the live casino world, and this breakthrough can help propel not only NetEnt, but operators reaching new heights.”
